And the people of this state of patience find calamities easy to bear, as they express their state with the saying of Allah:
Indeed, we belong to Allah, and indeed, to Him we will return (2:156).
Allah, the Exalted, also said: To warn of the Day of Meeting (40:15).
They maintain a sense of serenity about everything that diminishes their status, and this is what is considered piety among them.
And in the hadith: “Part of a person’s goodness in Islam is his leaving alone that which does not concern him.,”
and he, Peace and Blessings of Allah be upon him said: “Be content, and you will be the most grateful of people to Allah.”
