One day, our Shaykh, Abu al-Abbas al-Tijani, was asked about Sufism. He responded with the following words:[1]
„Know that Sufism means adhering to Allah’s commandments and avoiding His prohibitions—both in action and thought—in a manner that pleases Him, rather than what pleases you.”
