After attaining this realization comes the completion of awakening, and with the completion of awakening follows the detachment from the self, its desires, the world, and Satan—toward Allah, the Exalted.
This is true repentance. Fleeing to Allah means seeking refuge in the Perfect Teacher of one’s time.
Allah, the Exalted, said: “Flee to Allah! Truly, I am sent by Him as a clear warner to you.” (51:49)
